Incoming Studierende Bewerbung
Studierende bewerben sich über Easy Mobility Online (Become an applicant) mit folgenden Dokumenten:
- Link(s) zu Videofile(s) mit mindestens 3 stilistisch unterschiedlichen Stücken müssen bereitgestellt werden
- Motivationsschreiben
- Transcript of Records
Wir nehmen gerne Bewerbungen von Einrichtungen entgegen, mit denen derzeit kein bilaterales Abkommen besteht.

Unterkunft
Als Unterkunft empfehlen wir den Studierenden und Gastdozent*innen das JHP Gästehaus (Haus der Begegnung).
Weitere Wohnmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe der Hochschule Burgenland bzw. PH Burgenland im ÖJAB-Haus sowie im Kolping-Haus-Eisenstadt, das in der Joseph-Haydn-Gasse, unweit des ehemaligen Wohnhauses Haydns liegt.
WICHTIG: Informationen zu den jeweils aktuellen Einreise- und Aufenthaltsbestimmungen für Studierende aus EU-Ländern und Drittstaaten sowie zu Krankenversicherungen können auf der Website des Österreichischen Austauschdienstes nachgelesen werden.
In Kooperation mit der Hochschule Burgenland können Erasmus+-Studierende den Kurs „Kommunikation auf Deutsch in Alltag und Beruf“ auf dem Niveau A1/A2 oder B1/B2 belegen. Achtung: Beide Kurse beginnen bereits im September!
Lage und Anreise
Die Landeshauptstadt Eisenstadt ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (Bahn, Bus) sowohl von der Bundeshauptstadt Wien als auch von der westungarischen Stadt Sopron/Ödenburg aus täglich im Stundentakt erreichbar. Auf der Homepage des Verkehrsverbundes Ostregion VOR bzw. der ÖBB sind die aktuellen Verbindungen abrufbar.
Vom Flughafen Wien-Schwechat gibt es keine direkten Verbindungen nach Eisenstadt; die kürzeste Verbindung geht über Wien.
Die Joseph Haydn Privathochschule befindet sich im Herzen der Stadt, hinter dem zentral gelegenem Schloss Esterházy und ist zu Fuß von diesem in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Zudem ist die Zufahrt mit Hinweisschildern gekennzeichnet.

In Eisenstadt selbst gibt es neben den öffentlichen Verkehrslinien den Stadtbus Eisenstadt.
Incoming Hochschulpersonal
Die folgenden Informationen richten sich vorwiegend an Studierende. Hochschulpersonal (für Unterrichts- und Fortbildungszwecke) wird um Kontaktaufnahme mit alexander.gangoly(at)jhp.ac.at gebeten.

Incoming Students Application
Students apply via Easy Mobility Online (Become an applicant) uploading the following documents:
- Link(s) to video file(s) with at least three stylistically varied pieces must be provided
- Motivational Letter
- Transcript of Records
We are happy to accept applications from institutions where there is no current bilateral agreement in place.

Accommodation
For student and guest lecturer accommodation, the JHP recommends the Student Host – Joseph Haydn Private University, which is a part of the “Haus der Begegnung”.
Further options are the ÖJAB-Hausnear the Hochschule Burgenland and the Pedagogical College as well as Kolping-Haus-Eisenstadt, which is located in Joseph-Haydn-Gasse, not far from Haydn’s former residence.
IMPORTANT: Information about current requirements for visa and residence permits for students from EU countries and third countries as well as about health insurance can be found on the website of the Austrian Academic Exchange Service.
In co-operation with the Hochschule Burgenland, incoming Erasmus+ students can attend the course “Kommunikation auf Deutsch in Alltag und Beruf” (Communication in German in Everyday Life and at Work) on level A1/A2 or B1/B2. Note: Both courses start in September!
Location and arrival
Eisenstadt is reachable daily on an hourly basis by public transport (train or bus) from Vienna as well as from the west Hungarian city of Sopron/Ödenburg. The current schedules can be found on the homepages of the Integrated Public Transport System for the Eastern Region of Austria (Verkehrsbund Ostregion VOR) and the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB).
There is no direct connection to Eisenstadt from the airport Wien-Schwechat; the shortest route is via Vienna.
In Eisenstadt itself, in addition to the public transport lines, there is the Eisenstadt city bus.
The Joseph Haydn Private University is located in the heart of the city, only a few minutes’ walk from the centrally located Esterhazy Palace.
